In Algematics, the substitute button: is used to substitute for variables in algebraic expressions.

You first select an algebraic expression or equation, then you type values to substitute into the input box. Now click to perform the substitution. These examples demonstrate the technique:

Example 1: The input box contains the substitution values, like this:  a=1,b=2,c=-15, then clicking once does this:
