The angle tool displays a movable arc on the graph view. (See below:)

This arc measures angles on your graph in degrees, radians and multiples of pi, independent of the 'x' and 'y' scales.

Select the angle tool by clicking the button on the graph tools tool bar, or by selecting the 'Angle' command from the 'Tools' menu.

When selected, the angle tool dialog box is displayed. (See below:)

Drag on the title bar at the top of the angle tool dialog box to move it.

Check the 'Snap to grid' option to locate the point of the arc at the corner of grid snap rectangles.

Click the 'Cancel' button to stop using the Angle tool.

Changing the arc angle:

To move the left (anticlockwise) arm of the arc, hold down a Ctrl key on the keyboard while you click the left mouse button and drag the mouse left or right.

To move the right (clockwise) arm of the arc, hold down a Ctrl key on the keyboard while you click the right mouse button and drag the mouse left or right.

For fine adjustment, hold down a Shift key as well.

Rotating the arc:

To rotate the arc without changing the angle, hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse left or right.

For fine adjustment, hold down a Shift key as well.

Changing the length of the arc lines:

To lengthen or shorten the length of the arc lines, hold down both mouse buttons and drag the mouse left or right.
